Invisible Work

Invisible Work by Tainá Guedes and Pedro Guimarães raises questions about all the invisible forces that drive artists to act as creators, bringing poetry and beauty to the overwhelming daily lives of mothers and educators. In the video, two perspectives can be observed, with nutrition as the guiding thread. On one side, Pedro, a dancer and nutrition student, that arrived to help Tainá. And Tainá, artist and mother of a baby. Pedro's impulse awakens Tainá to create her first work after the second maternity, creating, together with Pedro, a work about the daily work around a newly arrived child. A work about invisible work, work not seen by society, which involves nurturing, cooking, cleaning, and taking time for a child. From Pedro's perspective, the experience and challenges bring depth to the formation of an artist. That is also an invisible work that artists perform for the creation of art.
